Supervision "is an appreciative or a compassionate enquiry; a way of observing without attachment. In this sense a supervisory way belongs to any relationship - therapeutic, professional helping, mentoring, teaching, parenting or marriage as well as to self supervising. Any relationship can benefit from a supervisory way of looking". ('Vital Practice' Sheila Ryan, 2004)
I have been offering supervision to students and practitioners on a one to one basis or as a facilitator of small groups for the past 5 years. I am recognized by the Society of Homeopaths to supervise newly registered members and I am familiar with the requirements for CPD planning and reflective cycles.
I am committed to my continuous professional development and engage in supervision on a regular basis. The supervisory support in my reflections on practice has been invaluable to my development as a practitioner. Over the years, I attended various workshops to enhance my skills and learn new supervision techniques to work with.
As a supervisor I offer support to students and practitioners, whether newly qualified or more experienced, on all aspects of their practice.
I work with the Society of Homeopaths Code of Ethics and Practice for Supervisors.
